Alarm clock

Well it’s been half a week since my parents have left, and yes it was an emotional day.

So far Tank and I have done… nothing

I mean of course I have been applying to jobs, working on my truck and hanging out with my great family members.

But other than walks and Netflix… there’s nothing else. Of course, once I get a job and school starts for me that will change. Although, It still has been stressful; trying to get a job, being afraid to leave my room and having no friends. Kind of sucks moving…. but at the same time I love it here.

It’s so beautiful. Green everywhere. Great weather (I seem to be the only one that thinks that). Unfamiliar faces. Small towns. All things I love and enjoy about Florida.

Having nothing to do kind of sucks though.. I get bored and I just want to sleep. But Tank definitely does not allow that. I swear this pig is trying to be my mother…

In the morning he wakes me up around 6 to eat breakfast and go potty. We get back to the room and I lay down, hoping to sleep but nope Tank doesn’t like that so he screams at me until I am up and getting ready. At first I thought hes bored so I gave him toys, that didn’t work. Then I took him for longer walks and that didn’t work. I finally realized that when I start getting ready is when he’ll lay down and go back to sleep.

This was him yelling at me today.

I also learned he doesn’t like when I stay up late. The last few nights I have been keeping the TV on and just organizing things but Tank doesn’t agree with that. He will sit there and continually scream and make strange noises. Once again took him for longer walks, fed him later, and gave him toys.

I then started turning the TV and lights off and laying down and the second I lay down he stops screaming and goes under his bed.

Have I mentioned he doesn’t sleep ON the bed I got him?

Usually he is under it, like so

Or he has dragged it under MY bed and uses it as a pillow.

I’ll never understand him.

For example, the other day on our walk he made a puppy friend. She was 8 months old and freaked out about what he was. but after a few butt sniffs Tank actually tried to play with her it was strange. Out of all the dogs he sees every day, he has never played with one before.

While we’re talking about walks, I’d like to mention he has been such a good boy! The other day when I got home I took him out and that pig literally SPRINTED to the grass to go potty.

No accidents yet (Knock on wood)

So far living with an indoor pig hasn’t been as bad as y’all would think.

It’s really nice coming home to a clean room and animals that have missed you an just want to snuggle.

That’s another thing I’ve learned about Tank, when he’s mad or bored, if I just lay on the floor with him and rub his belly, he’d be the happiest pig for however long I would continue. I love it!

Stay connected and continue to read to see what adventures we go on next! Love y’all and miss my Arizonans.

Added bonus: proof Tank misses Ritz (my duck)
