We have had the best time in Arizona. Spendi ng a month with family in a dry heat and going on lake trips is what we all needed.
Our first weekend back Tank and I went to the lake for a birthday celebration, mine and Jordyns. It was a very successful trip. Tank was definitely a traffic stopper.
He went in the water, he relaxed in the tent and even went to visit neighbors in other campsites.
We had to show at least 50 people his new tricks.
He left his markings everywhere
(In case you’re wondering what it is… It’s a step step step, dig, blop.. piggy style)
The funniest part was getting him on the boat. But he did well, he understands the routine now. He knows when he needs to go somewhere he has to jump.
He also enjoyed the refreshing water by taking a piggy bath.
After that lake trip we relaxed at home for another week, he has been a little upset though because Grandma makes him stay outside (he’s a spoiled indoor pig now)
But one night as we watched the Bacherlotte, Tank came in and I told him to lay day and to my surprise… instead of ignoring me and wondering for food… He laid down. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen.
What was even better was he got up after a bit to wonder and I chased after him, he ran to the bed and lifted it up and just stood there as if he was hiding. Wish I would’ve got a picture.
Here’s a bad picture of my mom actually giving snacks to Tank.
He has also mastered how to open the sliding glass doors… I think the dogs taughtg him so he’d be the one to get in trouble.
These are the ducks that Tank grew up with as Well! They’re so big now and I miss them!
Next weekend it was lake time again!
He actually enjoyed this trip and I think it was because he got to hang out with the dogs too.
This is the first time I have ever seen our dog Chief and Tank bond and it was adorable.
He didn’t go in the water this time but he enjoyed coming on the deck and watching everyone swim.
We headed to the cabin after that trip and this is Tanks favorite place! Rooting every where! Grass! Plants! A huge yard for him to do as he pleases! He loves it! But of course an indoor pig is still and indoor pig and so he came inside and hung out with us a few times. Being a great pig as usual.
This is Tank and our friend Sam! They’re good buds.
Can you spot the happy pig?
My vacation to Arizona is ending soon and I will miss it, Tank will be staying back for a month and drive back to Florida in July with my dog Willow and the rest of the family. I will be getting my new house prepared for him….. (baby locks on cabinets and toilets, clean yard, baby proof EVERYTHING else)
I will miss him but I know he’s in good hands.
He also recently got to go and visit my mom’s program. He is a great therapy pig for the adults with special needs. And I love to see the reaction they get as they pet him or he oinks.
He also went to visit my dad’s Trainer and spent his first time at the gym… I think his reaction is what we all want to do at the gym…
