I went back to the good ol’ AZ to spend the holidays with family. Tank was sadly left behind because only God knows what it’d be like with him on a plane.
But I know he’s enjoying the warm weather in FL with his new friends.
I was welcomed by some injured chickens, turkeys and ducks. And had to become a mother to 3 wonderful baby rabbits. All of these jobs helped me remember why I am going through this treetops school.
I am so thankfully I was able to come back home and see my family. It was a very merry Christmas.
And we knew Mema was with us when it was snowing on Christmas at our cabin.
2016 has been what they call a “adult year” for me. In January 2016 I didn’t think I would be where I am now. I didn’t think I’d be spending christmas without my grandma and I didn’t think I would be so close to family members in Florida. But I am very thankful for all God has done and given to me this year. I believe I was taught a few lessons that helped me mature. I lost people I never thought I’d lose, but that hole in my heart that they left was filled with a new love from my family and friends in Florida. I’m not saying people can be replaced, I’m just saying that I don’t know where I would be now if I didn’t have my Florida family. I have been blessed with a great friend, who I never would have guessed 7 years ago to be my bestfriend today. I have the most supportive loving great uncle and aunts and it’s nice to be surrounded by happiness, laughter and love that everyone else around us brings.
I’m so very thankful for my parents as well. They believe in me, and will do what they can to help me accomplish my goals and aspirations. I miss them dearly and it’s so nice to be around them again.
2017 is hopefully going to be a good year for me, right now what I have planned is to finish my associates and become a vet technician. I hope to find a house with a nice yard so my dog willow can join me, and Tank would love that too. And I pray to better myself physically and emotionally.
