Today Tank and I spent the day at the beach and eating out.
Because I won’t be able to spend Christmas or New Years with him, I wanted to spend a day and have some fun with him.
We started out early, got to the beach around 8 and just relaxed.
We walked around and Tank.. of course… ate some roots and dug in the sand a little.
We took cute christmas photos
and then the paparazzi arrived…
And when I say paparaazzi I mean, people walked up to us to say hi to Tank. Nothing super special.
But my favorite thing is that 98% of the people that walk over to meet Tank tell me how he just made their day, and I love that. I love that; just by walking around, moving his nose, or sending out a little oink, someones day is filled with a little bit of laughter and joy.
After a walk around this small town, enjoying the sand and water. We headed home.
We stopped to eat at panera and once again we were the center of attention.
Just the reactions some people give, make my day.
I am so proud of Tank for behaving and being so kind to everyone he meets in public.
Although he was pretty grumpy to have to leave Panera, we got back in the truck and headed home.
This is the first Christmas I won’t have Tank since he’s been in my life and i truly will miss him. I know he is staying with great people and will be well taken care of.
We got home and watched some shows together.
