We’re back on the road for the last time on this road trip. This morning we were trying to catch Teddy and Tank decided he was done waiting and had to pee. So he went. Luckily we caught him in time to put a pee pad under.
We were invaded by the paparazzi as we were leaving.
I love the comments I get from people. This morning we got
“Thats an unusual dog.”
We decided to go back and get a picture with the Alabama sign, we were only 5 miles away.
if You pay close attention… Tank is going poop… perfect timing right?
We have 5 more hours until we are in Gainesville and I’m so surprised because my truck beat us there.
On Thursday August, 25th we shipped my truck out on one of those semis. Kind of scary but I’m happy to know it’s safely there.
We made another stop at the Florida welcome center .. omigosh talk about a celebrity..
We were there for 45 minutes answering questions, getting pictures taken and of course Tank was the star.
I’m going to talk about me a bit right now.
This has been a crazy move for me, leaving friends and family and starting somewhere new, a place I barely know anything about.
But I’ve had God on my side this whole time and I know this is the path he is choosing for me. He is giving me strength and courage to do what I need to do to continue in life for the future I feel fits me best.
Before I left I made some new friends and a church I just started going to in May, and I couldn’t be any more thankful for them.
I was getting lost and wondering away from my relationship with God and they helped guide me back. When I was leaving they gave me a book, one that has helped me a lot on the road.
Worrying is my biggest problem. It seems to be all I do… worry about everything.
I realized I need to “Let go, and let God.”
Keep my mind occupied on positive things and solutions.
The drive continued and 2 hours felt like a year.
Teddy agreed with me
We had 30 minutes to get to the apartment before the office closed, the amusement of my mom speeding and my dad making jokes made it so much more fun.
